An artnews Lucian Freud cover I scanned when I was a sophomore at the university. Nobody cared that the library subscribed to artforum, aperture, et al, which I didn’t mind at all as the periodicals turned out to be my sanctuary.

If I wasn’t an upright student then I would’ve taken some for myself and the librarians wouldn’t have noticed. Such a shame.
